And the only place I'll ever be
is anywhere you are.
With your socks and squeaky soles
I'll walk a mile in your shoes,
with me as your ace of hearts
you're never going to loose.
I'll be your penny, head side up
I'll be the prize inside the box
The one who sets Autumn back,
add's an hour to your clock.
I'll give up everything inside
be a puppet to your game
Even if it only gains you
a little ounce of fame.
But every time I tear my heart out
to place it in your jar,
you smile at me and put it back
saying "I love you just how you are."
